Ronacrete were involved in the original construction of the Barbican Centre during the 1970’s and were called in again to discuss the recurring problems with the waterproofing of the pedestrian decks, raised over commercial premises in the mid 2010’s. Ronafix Mix A1 was specified to produce a screed laid to falls at minimum thickness over insulation boards. Ronafix Mix Design C was specified for bedding of tiles, chosen for its thin bed depth, high adhesion strength and waterproof properties.
